What it does well

The premise is the charm, and the series milks it well. The dog-curse setup is genuinely funny, generating both comedy and a steady stream of cute moments, and the central irony, she has to get close to the one man scared of her dog form, keeps the rom-com engine running. It's the kind of hook you smile at just describing.

The leads carry it from there. Hana is easy to root for, anxious and warm and stuck in a ridiculous situation, and Jin's gruff exterior and secret dog-phobia make him endearing rather than cold. The romance builds slowly and sweetly, and you end up wanting these two to figure it out. The supporting cast and the slowly thawing workplace dynamic give the romance a little more room to breathe than the premise alone would suggest.
