Former pro gamer Lee Hojae gets an out-of-nowhere invitation to something called the 'Tutorial World.' Hojae has to fight through the tutorial's brutal challenges while trying to figure out why he was invited at all.

What it does well

The premise gets a sharper hook out of a small but effective irony: Hojae isn't randomly thrown into danger, he chose the hardest setting himself, out of the same overconfidence that made him a successful pro gamer. That detail gives his situation more bite than the usual forced-transportation opening, since his own instincts are partly what got him trapped.

The series also treats the tutorial as an actual mystery rather than just an obstacle course. There's a specific reason Hojae was invited, and chasing that answer gives the survival gauntlet a bigger question to work toward beyond simply clearing the next challenge.

And with well over 260 episodes published, there's a genuinely large amount of story already available. For readers who want to sit down and binge a long-running action series in one go rather than wait on weekly updates, that backlog is a real asset.

Where it falls short

The trapped-in-a-deadly-tutorial structure is extremely common in current manhwa, and this series doesn't do a great deal in its earliest chapters to separate itself from similar premises -- what distinguishes it tends to come out gradually rather than upfront.
