Sixth Sense Kiss is built on a great romcom gimmick: Hong Ye-sool can see flashes of a person's future whenever she kisses them. It's never done her much good — she's never once glimpsed herself in anyone's future — until she accidentally kisses her cold, exacting boss, Cha Min-hu, and gets a vision she can't explain. Worse, he turns out to have a secret of his own. From there it's a flirty office romance about two people circling each other while the supernatural hook keeps complicating things. It's a Korean webtoon written by Got W with art by Jocobong, available in English on WEBTOON, and it spun off a 2022 live-action drama.

What it does well

The hook is the whole sell, and it works. The kiss-to-see-the-future setup is a clever engine for a romance — it gives every almost-kiss extra weight, fuels misunderstandings, and keeps a will-they-won't-they running on more than just shy glances. It's the kind of premise that makes you want the next episode.

The art is a big draw, too. It's polished, glossy full-color webtoon work, with attractive character designs and the kind of clean paneling that reads great on a phone. Min-hu hits the cold-handsome-boss note hard, Ye-sool is expressive and fun, and the visual chemistry does a lot of the heavy lifting. For a quick romance binge, it looks the part.

It's also genuinely funny in places, leaning into the awkward comedy of the premise — the panic of an accidental kiss, the scramble to explain a vision — and that lightness keeps it breezy. It knows it's a romcom and plays to that.

Where it falls short

Don't poke the premise too hard. The rules of the precognition are fuzzy and bend to whatever the plot needs, so if you're the type to ask "wait, why didn't she just—," the logic won't always hold up. It's a vibe, not a system.

Past the hook, the story is fairly conventional. The cold-boss and clumsy-employee dynamic, the third-party complications, the slow drip toward getting together — these are well-worn romance beats, done well but rarely surprising. And like a lot of long webtoons, the middle can stall, stretching the tension past the point where it's still satisfying. How much that bugs you depends on whether you're here for the leads or the plot.

Sixth Sense Kiss is a fun, good-looking office romcom with a hook strong enough to carry it. It's not breaking new ground — the premise gets stretched and the beats are familiar — but the art is lovely, the leads are easy to root for, and it's a satisfying binge if you're in the mood for flirty, low-stress romance. Come for the gimmick, stay for the slow burn.
