That makes even quiet, dialogue-heavy scenes tense, because you're always watching her read a room and set up her next move.

The court intrigue is the other strength. The "stop being a puppet, become the puppeteer" idea gives the scheming a satisfying throughline, and the series is good at letting Cayena's foreknowledge play out as careful, deliberate moves rather than lucky guesses.
